An opportunistic shot taken on the Mekong Delta in Vietnam, this photo is part of a series of shots taken of the floating markets in the south of Vietnam. Some editing in PhotoShop was done - cropping and desaturation.

The Sendai Mediatheque, by Toyo Ito. Though the form is simple and somewhat artificial, the building has an organic quality and sense of wonder. I admire the juxtapositions in the design, and feel that it serves its purpose perfectly as a place of discovery and a showcase of media.
3. An original image of something beautiful...
A close up of a dragon sculpture at a temple in Vietnam. It was under construction when I visited, and the artists used broken pottery pieces to tile each part of the temple. I loved the vibrant colours and the use of recycled materials to create something so striking.
